28th Annual WHSCC Health and Safety Conference

The 28th Annual WHSCC Health and Safety Conference will take place Sunday October 5 to Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at the Delta Beauséjour Hotel, Moncton. The aim of the conference is to educate and report on current health and safety issues and trends, and to improve workplace health and safety practices.

The deadline for registration is September 26, 2008.

Registration fee:

$290.00 + HST = $327.70 per delegate. This fee includes all meals and breaks, including Monday luncheon, Monday evening banquet and Tuesday breakfast. Extra tickets to the banquet may be purchased during registration and by using the registration form.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations received after September 12, 2008, are non-refundable, although we will accept a delegate substitution. To send a substitute, please call: 1 800 222-9775, ext 5660. If you cancel on or before September 12, your registration fee will be refunded, minus a 10% processing fee.

For late registrations, please visit us at the Mezzanine level of the Delta Beauséjour, 750 Main Street in Moncton. In-person conference registration takes place 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 5 and 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 6.

PLENARY SESSION

In June 2008, the report written by the independent review panel on New Brunswick’s workplace health, safety and compensation system was tabled. The conference will close with Louis Comeau, Chair of the Committee, hosting a discussion on the health and safety recommendations of the report.
