WELCOME TO THE WRC

The WRC is a specialized rehabilitation centre, owned and operated by WorkSafeNB. It is the only centre of its kind in Eastern Canada, located in Grand Bay-Westfield, just outside Saint John, New Brunswick. The centre offers health care professionals and injured workers an intensive, specialized approach to rehabilitation, and has treated injured workers since 1965. The centre provides all level of services in both official languages.

Accreditation

  • The Work Recovery and Vocational Evaluation Programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) International. CARF accredited programs and services have demontrated that they substantially meet internationally recognized standards.

  • Prosthetic/orthotic services offered by the WRC are accredited through their national professional body.

  • All professional staff, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, prosthetists/orthotists, psychologists, social workers and dietitians are licensed or registered and members in good standing with their respective professional bodies.
