Need JHSC training?

Joint health and safety committees (JHSCs) are integral to safety in workplaces with 20 or more employees. Becoming a JHSC member means a commitment to training. All members must receive WorkSafeNB-approved training within one year of joining a JHSC. WorkSafeNB offers e-courses and collaborates with trainers to provide high-quality JHSC training. 

Options for JHSC certification are:

Classroom only

Blended (e-courses and in-class instruction)

Virtual (e-courses and virtual instruction)

 

Three days of in-class training with a WorkSafeNB-approved provider

 

Five WorkSafeNB e-courses

AND

One day of in-class instruction with a WorkSafeNB-approved provider

Five WorkSafeNB e-courses

AND

One day of virtual instruction with a WorkSafeNB-approved provider

 

Note: The five e-courses must be completed before any in-class or virtual class instruction.
