Joint Health and Safety committee (JHSC) and Health and Safety Representative Educational Program
Learn how to be an effective joint health and safety committee member. This workshop explores JHSC roles, responsibilities and best practices to ensure your committee is making a difference in your workplace.
Health and Safety for Managers and Supervisors
Health and Safety for Managers and Supervisors helps employers, including supervisors, managers and executive leaders, how to develop and manage health and safety in their workplace. It provides tools for creating and nurturing a strong health and safety culture. This workshop is ideal for any person in a role of authority at a workplace.
Applied Occupational Health and Safety
Three non-consecutive days
Participants must complete the Joint Health and Safety Committee and Health and Safety Representative Educational Program or the Health and Safety for Managers and Supervisors workshop before attending this three-day (non-consecutive) workshop. This workshop helps health and safety co-ordinators and others who wish to further their understanding of the legislative aspects of health and safety. Participants must submit homework to successfully complete the course.
