1. WorkSafeNB has authority to provide workers with home services, such as home care and home maintenance, to assist with recovery, return to work, and activities of daily living.

3. WorkSafeNB pays the agency or professional rate directly to the provider for nursing, homemaking, or other professional health care services.
4. When an informal caregiver or provider supplies home care or home maintenance, WorkSafeNB provides reimbursement to a maximum based on the level of care as outlined below. WorkSafeNB requires receipts for all informal home care and home maintenance services. In addition, when home care services are provided to a worker with severe and prolonged injuries, receipts must also contain the informal caregiver’s Social Insurance Number to provide reimbursement.
