Rates / Fees

1. WorkSafeNB has authority to provide workers with home services, such as home care and home maintenance, to assist with recovery, return to work, and activities of daily living.

2. WorkSafeNB assesses a worker’s need for specific home services and provides these services through::

• Professional health care providers;
• Contracted homemaker agencies;
• Informal caregivers; or
• Any combination of the above.

3. WorkSafeNB pays the agency or professional rate directly to the provider for nursing, homemaking, or other professional health care services.

4. When an informal caregiver or provider supplies home care or home maintenance, WorkSafeNB provides reimbursement to a maximum based on the level of care as outlined below. WorkSafeNB requires receipts for all informal home care and home maintenance services.

5. Care levels for 2026 are:

• Level 1 - $104.19/month
• Level 2 - $208.35/month
• Level 3 - $416.71/month
• Level 4 - $750.98/month
• Level 5 - $988.15/month
• Level 6 - $1,383.40/month
• Level 7 - $2,371.55/month
