Saint John: The Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission (WHSCC) of New Brunswick is pleased to present its roster of 2006 workshops.
“Education is the key role of our mandate to help create workplace environments that view all occupational diseases and accidents as being preventable,” says Andy Rauska, Director, Divisional Support, WorkSafe Services of the WHSCC. “We consult closely with the workers and employers of New Brunswick to identify not only the information they want, but the information they need. We’re happy to provide that information in the form of these workshops.”
The workshops are held in both French and English in various locations across the province thorughout the year, and range in length from a half-day to 3 days. Topics include:
JHSC Core Training
WHMIS
Lock Out and Tag
Supervisors and Due Diligence
Ergonomics
Claims Management and Workplace Accommodation Process
The workshops are open to any New Brunswick worker or employer, at no cost to the worker.
