Saint John: THE WHSCC is investigating a workplace accident that claimed the life of a 50-year old man from St. Quentin.
François St. Pierre, a labourer with the Town of St. Quentin, died Tuesday as a result of injuries sustained when the bucket of a loader he was working on fell on top of him.
A WHSCC officer was dispatched to the scene as soon as the accident was reported.
An investigation is ongoing to determine whether there were violations to the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
