News Release Worker killed in fall – Allan Wilson

Saint John, N.B.- WorkSafeNB continues to investigate an accident that claimed the life of a 52 year-old Minto man yesterday.

Allan Wilson, a welder with Gaddess Industrial Preventative Maintenance Ltd., died from head injuries after falling about 8 metres to a concrete floor. Wilson fell when the platform he was standing on while disassembling steel plates detached from its support.

Orders have been written because of violations to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and WorkSafeNB continues to investigate.
