WorkSafeNB is investigating a workplace fatality in Black’s Harbour that claimed the life of 25-year-old Adam Wade Harris yesterday.
Harris, a collector with Dominion Refuse Collectors, was loading an industrial dumpster which was hooked onto the truck, when it swung sideways and struck him.
WorkSafeNB is investigating to determine the cause and whether there were violations of occupational health and safety legislation, and to make recommendations to prevent a similar incident from happening again.
