WorkSafeNB is investigating a workplace fatality that claimed the life yesterday of 48-year-old Tony Grant, of Bath, N.B.
Grant, a labourer with Hargrove Hydro Ltd., based in Bath, was clearing brush near the Monquarte stream when he slipped and fell into the water and was pulled over the falls.
WorkSafeNB health and safety officers are investigating to determine how the accident could have been prevented and whether there were violations to the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
