WorkSafeNB announces the winners of its Youth Health and Safety Conference Experience contest. High school students involved in the November 2017 Youth and Health and Safety Conference in Dieppe were asked to submit a testimonial outlining what they learned from the conference and how they’ll share the safety message with others for a chance to win cash prizes for themselves and their schools.
Winners are:
Nicolas, Jakob and Madeleine each won $1,000; their corresponding schools each received $1,000.
École l’Odyssée will use some of the funds to replace locks for lockout/tag-out in the shops and toward other safety improvements.
Moncton High plans to donate the winnings to support mental health initiatives and the United Way.
