In response to employer and employee concerns on the legalization of cannabis and to help workplaces address alcohol and drug use in the workplace, WorkSafeNB has released a new topic on its Guide to OHS Legislation (NB OHS Guide) app.
“The impairment topic answers the most common questions we receive on the subject,” says Douglas Jones, WorkSafeNB’s president and CEO.
“These include how to set up workplace policies, how supervisors and managers can assess impairment in the workplace, and employee responsibilities.”
The app is available for free on Google Play and the App Store.
