The Oct. 7 to 9 conference in Fredericton will bring together workplace health and safety professionals from across New Brunswick.
Registration is now open for WorkSafeNB's 2026 Health and Safety Conference, taking place Oct. 7 to 9 at the Fredericton Convention Centre. This year's keynote speakers are Tessa Virtue, Captain Richard Phillips and Will Gadd.
Captain Richard Phillips, whose story inspired the Academy Award-nominated film Captain Phillips, will share lessons from the five-day hostage crisis aboard the Maersk Alabama and discuss leadership and decision-making under pressure.
Tessa Virtue, Olympic and World Ice Dance Champion and the most decorated female figure skater in Olympic history, will speak about teamwork, well-being and performing under pressure.
Will Gadd, an adventure athlete and risk management expert, will share lessons from high-risk environments and discuss how people and organizations can assess risk and adapt to change.

The conference will also include educational sessions and opportunities to connect with health and safety professionals, employers, workers and industry partners from across New Brunswick and beyond.
