WorkSafeNB is making it easier for New Brunswickers to access occupational health and safety information online.
Developed in collaboration with the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS), WorkSafeNB’s OHS Guide provides practical information on more than 65 workplace health and safety topics and direct access to the WorkSafeNB Guide to OHS Legislation.
“The way people access information has changed significantly since we first launched the NB OHS Guide mobile app,” said Tim Petersen, President and CEO of WorkSafeNB. "By directing users to the online guide, New Brunswickers can continue to access trusted health and safety information through their web browser, on any device, whether they are at work, preparing for a job or planning for the day ahead."
The guide helps workers and employers understand their responsibilities under New Brunswick’s occupational health and safety legislation and supports safe work practices.
The current NB OHS Guide mobile app will no longer be updated and will not be available to download from app stores. Mobile app users can continue to access the same information online and bookmark the guide from their mobile device for easy access with new features available.
Using the guide online helps New Brunswickers access the same information across devices, use content offline once it has loaded and see the latest version without downloading app updates. It improves visibility through search engines and supports tools such as Google Translate, helping more people find and understand workplace health and safety information in their preferred language.
