Chantal Lafleur

 

Chantal Lafleur was appointed to a five-year term on the board of directors as a worker representative on January 25, 2024. She previously served on the board from 2004-2007.

Lafleur brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role as a board member, with a diverse background in nursing, labour relations, and disability management. This experience, coupled with her active involvement in professional associations, makes her an asset to the board.

She has dedicated herself to improving workplace conditions and advocating for the well-being of nurses and other healthcare professionals throughout her career. But her impact extends beyond her professional experience. Her involvement in various provincial committees and associations, such as the Human Resources Provincial Pandemic Planning Group, speaks to her broader commitment to community well-being and public service.

Today, as a labour relations consultant for the New Brunswick Nurses' Union, Lafleur continues to advocate for the rights and welfare of healthcare workers, leveraging her multifaceted expertise to drive positive change in the industry.

She lives in Edmundston.
