Chiropractors

Chiropractors assess, diagnosis and treat a wide range of conditions, injuries and disorders related to the muscular, skeletal and nervous systems. They use a hands-on approach tailored to the worker’s injury. Treatment can include spinal manipulation therapy, rehabilitation exercises, ergonomic education, general health counselling and other complementary therapies.

Chiropractic treatment helps alleviate pain and restore function. Education and exercise helps prepare the worker for a return to the workplace while helping to prevent future injuries. While some injuries require time away from work, others can be treated while the worker performs original or modified duties.

Chiropractors consult with physicians, physiotherapists and other health care professionals.  WorkSafeNB has a consultant chiropractor based at its rehabilitation centre in Grand Bay-Westfield.
