Occupational health nurses

Occupational Health Nurses (OHNs) play a critical role in worker recovery. They help workers return safely to workplace activities. They can provide support and expertise on accommodation.

OHNs may also help employers improve overall worker health and well-being, which leads to reduced worker absenteeism and injuries, and increased productivity. With a keen understanding of workplace trends and best practices, they can educate and advise staff on preventative and disability management programs.

WorkSafeNB has OHNs in clinical and research roles at its rehabilitation centre.
