Social workers

Workers can experience many life changes after a workplace incident. Injury and illness disrupts routine and may cause anxiety, worry and fear. Social workers help workers develop skills and use their own resources and those of the community to cope and overcome challenges.

WorkSafeNB employs social workers in many roles, ranging from case managers to senior administrators. They are critical members of the treatment team, providing a link among the multidisciplinary team of health-care professionals, workers, their families and community resources.
