Psychologists

Psychological factors or conditions can complicate recovery and delay a worker’s return to work. Psychologists are uniquely trained to administer psychological tests to help with assessment and diagnosis, and are skilled in a variety of treatments and psychotherapies. They help injured workers identify and understand their thoughts, emotions and behaviour to help them overcome or manage a number of conditions including PTSD, anxiety, depression, brain injury and long-term pain.

WorkSafeNB has network of psychologists throughout New Brunswick.
