Denny Vautour was appointed to the board of directors as a worker representative on May 5, 2022, for a five-year term.
A Red Seal certified bricklayer, Vautour has many years of experience serving on executive committees in the construction industry. Denny is currently the business manager for Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Local 8 NB/PE and treasuer-/secretary for New Brunswick Building Trades Unions and Atlantic Provinces Trowel Trades Conference. Denny believes that teamwork and collaboration in the industry are key to improving health and safety culture.
Vautour served as a worker representative on WorkSafeNB’s Appeals Tribunal from 2007 to 2016. He brings vast knowledge of the Workers’ Compensation Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Act to his board position.
He lives in Saint John.
